1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing this website and placing an order with Obsidian BioTech, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you must not use this site or place any order.

2. Research Use Only

All products sold by Obsidian BioTech are strictly for in-vitro laboratory research purposes. They are not approved by the MHRA, FDA or any regulatory body for human or veterinary use. They are not medicines, food supplements or consumer products of any kind.

By placing an order you confirm that:

• You are a qualified researcher, scientist or laboratory professional aged 18 or over.
• The products will be used solely for legitimate in-vitro scientific research in a regulated laboratory environment.
• You will not administer the products to humans or animals.
• You take full legal and moral responsibility for the use of any products purchased.

3. Orders & Payment

All prices are in GBP (British Pounds Sterling) and inclusive of VAT where applicable. Orders are accepted subject to availability and our right to refuse any order at our sole discretion. Payment must be received in full before orders are dispatched. We accept Open Banking (UK) and cryptocurrency payments.

4. Shipping & Customs

We ship worldwide. The buyer is solely responsible for researching and complying with the import laws and customs regulations of their country. We will not falsify customs declarations. Obsidian BioTech accepts no liability for orders seized, delayed or destroyed by customs authorities. No refunds will be issued for orders lost to customs seizure. All import duties, taxes and customs fees are the buyer's responsibility.

5. Returns & Refunds

Due to the nature of research chemicals, we cannot accept returns of opened, used or temperature-compromised products. Refunds or replacements will only be considered in the following circumstances:

• The product arrives visibly damaged — report within 48 hours of delivery with photographic evidence.
• An incorrect product is shipped — report within 48 hours of delivery.

Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days to the original payment method where possible.

6. Limitation of Liability

Obsidian BioTech is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages arising from the use, misuse or inability to use any product purchased from us. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the value of the order in question.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images, logos and design, is the property of Obsidian BioTech and may not be reproduced without prior written consent.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the site following any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
